Volusia County Events this week!
The Monster Truck show this past weekend at the Ocean Center was really good! I highly recommend that anyone with kids under 10 (who love monster trucks)see it the next time they are in town. My son got autographs from all the drivers and pictures with the Bigfoot driver & the winner of the night, The fire truck (my son’s personal fave)! The Ocean Center is hosting more popular events this week including: Daytona Boat Show & the Daytona Home Show. 2 different shows going on at the same place, same timeframes.

- Country Summer Concert w/ Hayfire on Thursday, 9/5 from 6-10 at Saints and Sinners Pub
- Free Family Art Night: Whimsical Owls on Friday at 5:30 at Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens
- End of Summer Bike Show on Saturday 9/7 from 11-6 Indian Motorcycle Daytona Beach
- Daytona Beach Comic Book Convention 9/7 & 9/8 at Volusia County Fairgrounds
- Low cost pet shot clinic on Saturday, 9/7 from 9 – 12 at Save the Animals Store in Port Orange.

The DeLand Fire Department welcomes the community to a 9/11 memorial breakfast to pay tribute to the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Join us at the Daytona Aquarium and Rainforest Adventure on September 7th for our Sensory Hour! The Daytona Aquarium is opening their doors one hour earlier (10 AM) so their special guests can spend quality time in a relaxing environment and enjoy the wonders of the Sea. A decompression room is also available.
