Growing up, my family and I moved seven times while I was between the ages of 8 and 11 before permanently settling in Florida. The first 8 years of my life were spent in Virginia in what seemed like a fairytale. But that all changed when my family decided to relocate to Texas, where we spent 10 months and every penny my parents had, just trying to get by. Eventually, we uprooted again and moved across the country to Florida, where we finally put down permanent roots in Edgewater, FL. My best memories are from those years, was playing outside with my brothers and cousins, but especially those one-on-one mall dates with my grandma. We’d shop, grab a bite, and enjoy each other’s company for hours. That time with her was magic.
As a kid, I dreamed of being a professional athlete. But like most dreams, that one evolved—shaped by life, growth, and what really mattered to me: freedom, family, and building a life on my own terms.
Through high school and college, I worked all kinds of jobs—soccer ref, waitress, swim instructor, even accounting. I tried on a lot of hats. After graduation, I dabbled in sales & marketing and sold Orlando Magic tickets and timeshare packages. But even the most exciting roles left me wanting more. I didn’t want to climb someone else’s corporate ladder—I wanted a career where I could be myself and help others change their lives, too.
Real estate had always intrigued me. I watched my financially-savvy grandma invest in property and build wealth. I bought courses, but without cash, the deals always felt out of reach. So instead of waiting, I went all in—I got my real estate license, determined to figure it out from the inside.
Getting licensed in 2009—right in the middle of a housing crash—was eye-opening. Everyone said it was a great time to buy, but I still didn’t have the money. So I shifted my mindset: instead of flipping a house, I would start by buying my own.
We didn’t have a lot, but my fiancée had steady income and I used my commission as a down payment. We bought a bank-owned foreclosure with the seller covering our closing costs. It wasn’t fancy—but it was ours. That little block home on a corner lot changed everything.
Over five years, we poured love into it—knocking down walls, upgrading the kitchen, building a life. When we sold it for double what we paid, we were able to pay off our debt and move back to where it all began (for both of us): Edgewater, FL.
That first home showed me what’s really possible when you’re resourceful, creative, and just need a place to begin.
Now, I help families in Volusia County do the same—through my ReadySetMove System, a step-by-step approach that makes upsizing, relocating, or starting fresh feel simple and stress-free.
I believe in honesty with kindness, keeping family at the center of every decision, and always treating people the way I’d want to be treated. Life doesn’t pause for a move, so I make sure the process fits your reality—not the other way around.
Whether you’re buying your first home, your forever home, or anything in between, I’m here to help you build the life you’ve been dreaming of—one smart move at a time.
I’m passionate about serving the Volusia community, and am looking forward to helping you with your home buying and selling needs. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a real estate agent/Realtor® who values hard work, integrity, and providing excellent client service as much as I do — or an agent who loves serving this community so much.
