Since most of us can’t and don’t want to bring our school aged children in to work with us from June through August, we’ve compiled a fun list of things for them to do to stay occupied, well fed, and maybe even learn some things while they are on break. Read on for info on summer activities for kids.
Feeding the kids seem impossible?
Volusia County School Board unanimously decided to run this summer food service at select district campuses. So, if you’re in Volusia County, your kids can enjoy these free meals at participating schools throughout the summer!
Volusia County Schools is providing meals for students attending their in-person summer programs. If your child is attending one of these programs, they’ll get their meals right at the school.
For those not on campus over the summer, there’s still a way to join in. Parents or guardians need to order meals 24 hours ahead by calling the front office of the participating school. When you arrive to pick up the meals, just check in at the office.
